500 South Pine Street
Pine Manor’s sister home was built by Alex Lonnquest in 1930 during the crash. Lonnquist subsequently declared bankruptcy in 1931. This would have been one of the last homes he built which is still standing.
The Plans for Pine Manor call for a “sun room” which was a $700 dollar add on to the purchase price of the model. Shown here from the 1928 Sears Kit home Catalog is the Van Jean Style Dutch Colonial which we feel was used as the model home plans.
